Aayesha Ejaz is an Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Storyteller based in Bonn, Germany.

Aayesha holds an MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BA in Communication Design from Indian Institute of Art & Design.

She enjoys visual storytelling revolving around personal narratives, food and animals. In her work, she reflects on incidents that evoked an emotion in her. Aayesha strives to make these moments comforting for herself and the viewer. She shares mundane things (for instance, how to make a makeshift pizza as a broke college student) in an endearing manner with humility and humour.

Over the years, Aayesha has illustrated books, designed identities for homegrown brands, created puzzles for children, and conducted workshops on autobiographical comics and visual narratives. She is currently working at Qomix, adapting classic literary works into graphic narratives.
